Located in Vaihingen in the southwest of the state capital Stuttgart, STEP Stuttgarter Engineering Park boasts a prime location and optimal transport links.

The Österfeld commuter rail station is located right next door to the STEP campus and is served by multiple rail lines: S1 (Plochingen – Stuttgart City – Herrenberg), S2 (Schorndorf – Stuttgart City – Airport) and S3 (Backnang – Stuttgart City – Airport).
